Srikanth Vaidyanathan was introduced to Swami through his family who came into the fold in early sixties. Growing up in Chennai, he had the opportunity to participate in a number of Balvikas (SSE) related activities. Subsequently, he joined the Primary School in Prashanti Nilayam in 1986 for his sixth grade and went on to complete his high school there. Swami provided him a number of opportunities to speak in His Divine presence, be a part of the bhajan group and participate in a number of Convocation dramas. He did his undergraduate studies in Brindavan and completed his M.Sc (Physics) in 1998 from Prashanti Nilayam.

From there on, he went for his higher studies in USA - completing his Master's in Electrical Engineering from University of California at Davis. He is a very active participant in the Sai Center activities in Boston and all alumni related activities around United States. He is a regular speaker at many Regional and SSSIO events. He currently serves as the National Devotion Coordinator for SSSIO-USA.
